Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned: Assist in developing and maintaining a proactive Residence Life program that reflects the Christian values of the institution through professionalism creativity innovation and efficiency. Reside in assigned Universityowned housing for proper performance of duties of employment. Assist with room assignments facilitate approved room changes and coordinate the checkin and checkout processes for a designated living area. Oversee the planning administration and evaluation of programs within a designate living area. Assist in the selection and training of Graduate Assistants and Resident Assistants. Provide supervision and ongoing leadership development for assigned staff of Resident Assistants. Attend departmental meetings deemed appropriate by supervisor. Participate in Student Services related training and events. Maintain scheduled office hours participate in oncall Residence Life duty rotation and provide coverage for a minimum of one 1 University holiday/break period as specified in the Holiday Schedule. Maintain fiscal control of appropriate funds including but not limited to living area and programming budgets. Abide by understand uphold defend and enforce University policies and Residence Life policies. Address student judicial cases and serve as a member of Judicial Review Boards as appropriate. Respond to and serve as a resource for physical psychological emergencies with professionalism and sound judgment. Monitor physical (health and safety) conditions of the living area. Regular onsite attendance.
