About the role
You will be a newly setup function that creates a bridge between Product Engineering and Operations/ GotoMarket teams.
The Product Operation Manager will empower the Product team at Vertice to get closer to achieving our mission of enabling businesses to scale without friction by providing crossfunctional control automating workflows and generating costsavings.
The role will focus on operations and project management defining crossfunctional processes and KPIs designing and implementing effective product lifecycle methodologies and tools (for product prioritization planning and rollout) to provide clear transparency within Vertice whilst also enabling our product & engineering teams to work more effectively with the gotomarket teams (CSM Sales Marketing) are in the loop.
Responsibilities:
- Youll envision define and execute on goals that set product up for continuous operational excellence
- Youll collaborate with Product Design Engineering and Research teams to regularly identify process gaps optimisation and other executional blockers so that each team member can do their best most focused work possible. We work primarily in Slack Jira Confluence and Productboard
- Youll proactively identify obstacles and opportunities facilitate change remove blockers drive clear decisionmaking and make iterative evidencebased improvements to team processes
- Youll increase transparency and trust across Vertice by driving communications and collaboration channels including planning roadmap reviews budget retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Youll enable continuous improvement ensuring learnings are captured shared and integrated
- Youll possess a highlevel of attentiontodetail communication and writing skills and are excited to tackle problems of highpace growing company changes
- Work with product team members to continuously define what best practice or good looks like in each area and help teams understand opportunities to improve
- Help foster crossteam collaboration and alignment; and bridge communication gaps from product to the the rest of Vertice
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills across multiple functions and teams
- 3 years experience in a combination of strategy and operations roles (strategy consulting product operations/management project management or a discipline working closely with product)
- You have a good understanding of product frameworks and development lifecycle
- Youre a master when it comes to organization planning and ensuring timely delivery of work
- You have a trackrecord of making data driven decisions
- You take a problem driven approach and are able to wrap your head around complex challenges to break them into smaller problems
- Experience working with product and engineering teams
- Consulting background is an advantage!
