Job Description
This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus of $2500 to be paid in two installment: $ 1250 within 30 days of your hire date and $ 1250 12 months after hire date The Professional Nurse in the Same Day Care setting within the Department of Nursing Service is responsible for organizing and providing direct patient care for those patients served by Campus Health; applying clinical expertise in the utilization of the nursing process (assessment planning intervention and evaluation); recognizing that the scope and complexity of patients conditions vary from primary to chronic and routine to acute; and acts as a liaison between the health care provider and patient to promote optimal patient care. The Same Day Care Professional Nurse also implements educational programs assists with complex technical/medical procedures and supervises ancillary nursing personnel.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.Technical Knowledge Critical Thinking Consulting/Advising Client/Customer Service Coaching/Mentoring and Communication. Precision exactness and accuracy are essential to the practice of nursing care.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Prefer experience in an acute/ambulatory care/office based setting administration of intravenous therapy. Experience with College Health helpful. Experience administering allergy injections helpful.
Work Schedule
8:00 am 5:00 pm Monday through Friday occasional evenings occasional weekends occasional holidays
