You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for Full Professor with tenure with the intent to hold the Sid W. Richardson Foundation Regents Chair in Mathematics #3 endowment. This position is a ninemonth appointment with a start date of August 16 2025. The department is interested in candidates who will contribute to excellence in mentoring through teaching research and service. The minimum annual 9month salary is $200000 with Health and Retirement Benefits. The salary can be negotiated based on experience.
To ensure full consideration for the academic year of 202526 all materials should arrive by November 11 2024.
Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and comparable experience with a strong research focus in mathematics and have publications in highquality outlets possess a research agenda that is welldefined and focused with a strong external funding history or potential. In addition the candidates should have positive evidence in leadership in mathematics education. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: partial differential equations the calculus of variations.
For applicants who are not aUS citizen or permanent resident appointment to the Richardson Chair #3 is contingent to becoming permanent US citizen or permanent resident.
