Position Overview: As a Solar Engineer within their Static Power BU you will play a key role in the design implementation and optimization of solar energy projects. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate solar power systems with our static power infrastructure ensuring seamless operation and maximum efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer solar power systems including photovoltaic arrays inverters and energy storage solutions tailored to meet project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies site assessments and energy audits to identify optimal locations and configurations for solar installations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate solar energy solutions with existing static power systems ensuring compatibility and reliability.
- Oversee project implementation including procurement construction and commissioning activities while adhering to quality safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform system performance evaluations monitoring and troubleshooting to identify and address operational issues and optimize energy output.
- Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory developments in solar energy and static power systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy or related field.
- Proven experience in designing implementing and commissioning solar energy projects preferably within the static power sector.
- Strong technical proficiency in solar photovoltaic systems inverters energy storage technologies and relevant design software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities with a collaborative approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations codes and standards governing solar energy and electrical installations.
