We have an exciting fulltime opportunity for a talented and caring Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated multidisciplinary group. The successful candidate will serve a vital function in the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse WI providing outpatient care to our patients.
The Department of Psychiatry & Psychology in Southwest Wisconsin is a growing and robust interdisciplinary team comprised of 3 general psychiatrists 2 child & adolescent psychiatrists 5 clinical psychologists 2 neuropsychologists 6 nurses 25 mastersprepared therapists and 4 case managers. Together this group provides evidencebased diagnostic and treatment interventions to adults struggling with mental health disorders.
La Crosse WI is a city of 52000 with a metro area of 120000 in the Upper Mississippi River Valley located between Minneapolis/St. Paul MN and Madison WI. The area offers unlimited fourseason recreational opportunities (biking golf hiking the bluffs and crosscountry/downhill skiing). We have a great family environment with safe and highquality schools including two universities and a technical college. There are sport events a local symphony orchestra theaters childrens museum and a civic center.

Nurse Practitioner: Mastersprepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current WI RN and APRN license and certification as a PMHNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the WI State Board of Medical Practice. Psych certification preferred.
Current BLS certification and DEA required.
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent verbal written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership ability. Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet patient and staff needs. Ability to manage time and stress effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
