Job Description

This entry level position performs basic mechanical system troubleshooting and repairs including repairing and/or retrofitting all facilities mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and plumbing systems equipment and controls in order to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performs basic repairs equipment replacement and reviews completion of tasks performed by outside contractors
- Assembles installs and/or repairs pipe systems and plumbing machinery and equipment. May consult with more experienced staff as needed
- Prioritizes schedules and completes incoming work requests from CAFM system while providing a safe work environment and a high level of customer satisfaction
- Analyzes building system operation and building management systems in order to identify and implement necessary repairs to maintain building operations
- Diagnoses mechanical problems and utilizes company resources such as blueprints repair manuals and/or parts catalogs as necessary in order to complete repairs under the supervision of a licensed technician
- Ensures all repairs comply with company safety standards and any applicable local state and federal regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Basic knowledge of machinery and the tools used to perform maintenance and repairs
- Basic knowledge of policies procedures and strategies necessary to promote effective operations
- Basic knowledge of company safety standards and any applicable local state and federal regulations
- Basic analytical and problemsolving skills
- Able to conduct inspections identify mechanical issues and perform maintenance/repair in order to promote the continued operation of essential company properties
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Minimum: 0 2 years related work experience
