Job Description
Data Quality and Governance Manager
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data quality and governance manager with a strong background in metadata management (data catalog business glossary and data lineage) and expertise in data governance & data quality platform ideally in Informatica IDMC. The candidate will need to work with various stakeholders and strategic initiatives to enhance data quality establish robust data governance framework and ensure metadata is effectively managed to support decision making compliance and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an enterprisewide data management framework (including data governance metadata management and data quality) policies and standards.
- Establish and deploy the centralised data catalog centralised business glossary data lineage capability data profiling capability data quality rule engine and centralised data quality issue management solution.
- Collaborate with data owners/stewards and business stakeholders to ensure the adoption of the data management framework in all regions and business domains
- Promote the use of metadata for enhancing data discoverability compliance and collaboration across business and IT teams
- Support and guide project teams to setup data profiling and data quality check process.
- Provide the best practice and advisory on data management practice
Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
- Deep knowledge of data management framework including data catalog business glossary data lineage data quality measurement and data quality issue management governance methodologies
- Proficiency in defining and management metadata repository including technical business metadata and lineage.
- Proficiency in creating and executing data quality rules.
- Advanced SQL skills and ideally familiarity with some scripting languages for data profiling automation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences
- The candidate is expected to have 8 years of experience in data governance metadata management and data quality roles with 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Ideally Handon experience on Informatica IDMC including data governance and catalog data profiling and data quality
- Proven expertise in implementing and managing metadata management and data quality solutions
