About Us:
The Tru by Hilton Burlingtonlocated off I40 is across the street from Alamance Regional Medical Center and five miles from Elon University. A variety of shops and restaurants are within half a mile of our front door. Guests can play games in our lobby exercise in the fitness center or relax in their comfy guest room.
The Role:
As a Houseperson youre the extra set of hands that keeps our hotel and housekeeping department running smoothly. This is a parttime position with a shift available on Thursday Friday and Saturday from 5PM 9PM.
What Youll Do:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all public spaces within the hotel from the lobby to the hallways.
- Assist the housekeeping and front desk teams by delivering supplies linens and amenities to guest rooms.
- Support the housekeeping team in ensuring that rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
- Collaborate with housekeepers to coordinate the timely turnover of guest rooms.
- Help with the removal of trash and used linens ensuring proper disposal.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or assistance.
- Maintain an organized inventory of housekeeping supplies.
Your Skills and Style:
- Your attention to detail ensures that supplies are delivered accurately and on time.
- A proactive attitude is your signature you anticipate the needs of the housekeeping team and our guests.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with various departments.
- Youre physically fit and capable of lifting and moving supplies and equipment.
- Your schedule flexibility means youre open to weekends and holidays.
