About The Opportunity
Programmed Group Services is seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our Workers Compensation team. Reporting to the Group SelfInsurance Manager this role offers the opportunity to thrive and expand your skills within a highperforming closeknit team based at our Underdale office. You will be responsible for the endtoend injury and claims management functions for workers compensation claims for Programmed employees.
This a Fulltime position with the potential for being PartTime 4 days a week) for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing Workers Compensation claims and supporting the ReturntoWork process
- Collaborating closely with employees and key stakeholders including Branch State and General Managers
- Ensuring employee claims for compensation are assessed within statutory timeframes and accompanied with the appropriate medical circumstantial and wages information
- Communicating claim outcomes to employees and providing necessary updates
- Escalating matters when required and working closely with HR to resolve them
- Maintaining accurate and confidential work injury claims files in accordance with agreed case management principles
- Developing and implementing recovery and return to work plans for claims with an incapacity exceeding 4 weeks
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience in Case Management across Workers Compensation and Return to Work processes unwavering motivation for delivery and a natural aptitude for firstclass stakeholder engagement. Additionally you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- Experience in a workers compensation setting eligibility RTW or claims management
- Return To Work Coordinator Certificate
- Comprehensive understanding of ReturntoWork Act 2014 and knowledge of the RTWSA Code of Conduct for SelfInsured Employers
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Current Drivers License
- Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management and Medical Terminology Course (not essential)
