Job Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the PricingDirect technology team you will be focused primarily on the buildout of our new client facing platform which includes website api and backend services and data infrastructure. PricingDirect is a leading market data solution that delivers independent reliable valuations and analytics across fixed income and derivatives asset classes worldwide (https://www.pricingdirect).
Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain highquality software solutions using Java
- Utilize Spring Boot for building robust and scalable applications.
- Contribute to frontend development using React or Angular enhancing user experience and application performance.
- Work with Data technologies such as DynamoDB and Hadoop to handle largescale data processing.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless production support.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
- Experience in software development in Java
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in at least one of the following frontend technologies: React Angular
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic agile environment within a diverse inclusive and geographically distributed team
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and be willing to explore and integrate new tools and frameworks as needed.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications.
- Experience in relational database and big data technologies: (e.g. Oracle DynamoDB Hadoop)
- Experience with AWS. AWS certification is a plus.
