Seeking dedicated mental health professionals to join Ohels Project Launch team. The program intends to promote the wellness of young children from birth to 8 years of age by addressing the social emotional cognitive physical and behavioral aspects of their development preparing young children to thrive in school and beyond.
As a member of the Project Launch team Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) consultants will work closely with staff and doctors at medical practices in Brooklyn where they will provide mental health screenings to parents for perinatal mood disorders in OBGYN offices mental health screening for children in pediatrician offices consultation referrals to treatment and evidencebased parenting programs. The ECMH consultants will develop and maintain positive working partnerships with staff and will provide training and guidance regarding traumainformed practices as well as maternal mental health.
Masters level clinician with MSW MHC CAT degree or similar required; Bilingual Yiddish Hebrew required. Two years of experience working with young children and families is preferred. Training and supervision are provided in a fast paced growthoriented environment. Excellent salary commensurate with experience. This fulltime position based in Brooklyn.
