Job Description
- Increase sales to existing customers.
- Identify and approach potential prospects.
- Make presentations to clients about the advantages and applications of goods or services.
- Prices credit or contract terms warranties and delivery dates should all be estimated or quoted.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of sales contracts or other contracts.
- Consult with clients following the sale or signing of contracts to address issues and give ongoing support.
- Examine and adjust information on product advances rivals and market circumstances.
- Represent businesses that export and import goods and services to and from other countries.
- Sales transactions may be conducted using Internetbased electronic commerce.
- Other sales reps activities may be supervised.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business marketing economics or a similar discipline.
- Sales experience.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills especially the ability to quickly establish rapport with both clients and suppliers.
- Experience using computers for a range of tasks.
- Competence in Microsoft software such as Word Excel and Outlook.
- Capable of working comfortably in a fastpaced setting.
