As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What Youll Do
Easterseals PORT Health provides oneonone and group counseling for clients with substance abuse and/or behavioral issues. As an intern you will complete your clinical rotations practicum or internship as part of our treatment team. You will maintain clinical documentation according to program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision assessment and progress reports in a supportive environment focused on your growth and learning as well as patient healing.
How Youll Benefit
This unpaid internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In your time with us you will learn how to use skills acquired in school and their practical application in a professional setting to gain a better understanding of an Outpatient Therapy service provider treating patients with mental health and substance use diagnosis.
