Finance Manager Opportunity Group Finance
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a dynamic Group Finance department within a leading listed organization. This role is based in Cape Town and reports to the Financial Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will support the Group Financial Reporting team by delivering accurate timely and relevant financial information to drive decisionmaking analytics risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly interim and yearend reporting.
- Support adhoc financial reporting and analysis.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations as part of internal financial controls.
- Drive efficiencies by developing SAC reports data analytics and performance monitoring.
- Oversee the financial control environment ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and optimizing the group reporting process.
- Support the preparation of statutory annual financial statements for all subsidiaries including planning drafting and managing the compilation process.

Education:
- Registered CA (SA)
Essential:
- Minimum of two years relevant finance and reporting experience ideally within the retail sector in a JSElisted company.
- Experience in financial reporting 1 years).
- Supervisory/management experience.
- Proficiency in SAP SAP EPM and Caseware.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.
- Experience with multiple accounting systems.
- Sound IFRS knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office SAP and Caseware.
