Advanced Processing Solutions Engineering is seeking Technical/Pod Managers to join our growing organization. This role provides opportunity for functional people leadership along with direct individual technical contribution. You will lead a team of technical staff comprising a wide range of engineering and science fields in support of Transformational Computing programs.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of 812 technical staff in management role.
- Execute in a direct contributor role as a system software electrical design test engineer or as an architect physicist material or data scientist.
- Work with technical leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define requirements and develop Agile project plans.
- Work in cooperation with program management to track and provide technical leadership to the team/pod.
- Work in collaboration with training leads to review and develop technical training material/documents.
- Support administrative management responsibilities including staffing performance evaluation career development and salary planning.
This position requires work onsite in either Linthicum MD or Annapolis Junction MD facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 7 years of related engineering experience including at least one year as an integrated product team or technical team lead.
- Proven leadership skills as a people and technical leader and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance per business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in STEM
- 12 years of related engineering experience
- Demonstrated performance as technical integrated product team and/or functional leader.
