Technical Lead

POSITION TITLE: Tech Lead Full stack (.NET Angular & Azure)

We expect this role to take technical ownership of Web Application and drive it forward on Development Integration Deployment Automation Maintenance Performance Security Architecture best practices etc. Work with multiple projects / teams on problems that require broad coordination technical design of systems and services. Explore the benefits of cross-project alignment provide mentoring within teams and provide leadership to other developers in the team.

Job description:

• Design develop deploy and support web applications solutions as per business requirements and built the services upon Microsoft Stack.
• Maintain modify optimize and extend existing solutions as a part of support and performance optimization projects..
• Providing day-to-day support and technical expertise to functional consultants and developers.
• Working together with other team members to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
• Ensuring good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.
• Help other teams to make the link between highest-level concepts and actionable requirements.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (maximum 500 characters (not including spaces) for short position posting and for posting on Eurofins website and career portals)

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Engineering Defree in Computer Science/MCA or  any other Bachelors degree with the relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 8-12 Years of Work Experience in software development.
• Good understanding of design & architecture concepts and use of tools like Enterprise Architect UML and Visio.
• Strong analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration with Software Architect(s) and other technical groups within Eurofins (Includes design documentation prototyping and validation)
• Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architecture solutions
• Usage of  Azure DevOps

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong experience in Web development ( Core Web API HTML5 Angular TypeScript JavaScript Framework Power BI)
• Experience on ORM (EF Core).
• Good working knowledge of MSSQL SQL T-SQL etc.
• Good understanding and experience on Unit testing framework (NUnit or XUnit)
• Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project
• Good understanding of UML object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Knowledge on monitoring or measuring tools like SonarQube
• Understanding CI / CD tools like MS builds / Azure DevOps

PERSONAL SKILLS

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal/written Communication Interpersonal and Presentation skills. And can explain complex functional/technical concepts with ease (via diagrams flowcharts etc.).
• Should be a self-motivated independent detail oriented responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship skills
• Candidate to have do-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines details and quality.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies needed.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

Technology Nice to have:

• Experience in Azure & AWS cloud platform

Methodology skills

• AGILE Development (Scrum)

About the Project:

ARP Tool is a Human Resource Solution developed and maintenaned for GSC HR which will cater to the unique Annual Review Process (ARP) of Eurofins for Perfornance Review of Leaders/Employees.  This is green-field in-house software development project using state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.  Application is in production for past 5 years and new additional functionality/improvements are being added. Major focus areas are : Security as application data is sensitive Performance as thousands of users use the application during peak period Complex business rules bonus calculations Approval workflows with different roles UI/UX intuitiveness etc.

The objective of the Annual Review Process is to give the opportunity to both Assessed KEL and Assessor to reflect on past performance to give tools to improve future performance to reflect on short- and long-term aspirations and ultimately to ensure that Eurofins has strong teams in place ready to face current and future business demands.
