Job Description
Introduction
Tax Accountant (Financial Services)
This role requires own vehicle/valid drivers licence as the position includes extensive travelling.
Location: Kimberley Northern Cape
Position Overview:
A wellestablished professional consulting concern requires the services of an experienced Tax Accountant.
Duties & Responsibilities
One will be responsible for conducting a full VAT audit of the client to identify any VAT that is claimable that the client did not claim during the financial period including the submission of monthly VAT201 VAT201 Reviews and liaising with SARS on any assessments and or objections for the period.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Key Requirements to be liable for consideration:
- Accounting qualification / SAIPA advantage
- Sound understanding and experience in VAT
- Understanding apportionment ratios and the application thereof
- Conducting VAT Audits
- Submission of VAT 201 and VAT Reviews
- Experience with SARS Assessments
- 3 5 Years relevant experience / SAIPA articles preferred
- Own vehicle and valid drivers licence a must as this job includes travelling
- Microsoft Excel
