If this sounds exciting we would love for you to join our Smart Products team as a Ph.D. summer intern!
In our team we start with a broad vision of new technologies combined with a deep understanding of consumer challenges. We utilize a variety of technologies including machine learning and artificial intelligence embedded systems cloud computing and robotics to identify synthesize and prototype testable solutions in a fastpaced handson and agile environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Explore existing literature and techniques in selfsupervised and semisupervised learning to devise a strategy for using large unlabeled datasets to improve timeseries data modeling.
Develop a functional pipeline that demonstrates improved performance in timeseries data modeling (e.g. classification) using available unlabeled datasets.
Share key insights from your research and development process with the broader team to improve our collective understanding of selfsupervised and semisupervised learning strategies.
Job Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Mathematics Physics or a related field or equivalent experience.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python with handson experience in libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch and Scikitlearn.
Familiarity with handling large datasets and using tools for data management (e.g. SQL Pandas Spark).
Strong background in deep learning for time series analysis with a particular focus on unsupervised semisupervised or selfsupervised learning.
Experience in developing sensing technologies or systems leveraging deep learning or machine learning methods.
Proven track record of significant contributions demonstrated through grants fellowships patents or publications in leading workshops journals or conferences in machine learning (e.g. NeurIPS ICML ICLR).
