As a Senior Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology (CT) you will provide expertise to enhance and develop our data platform using modern cloudbased technologies (e.g. AWS Databricks). You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to promote bestinclass outcomes and achieve the target state architecture goals.
Job responsibilities
- Create durable reusable data frameworks to meet the needs of the business
- Establish architectural best practices governance models and design patterns that support enterprisegrade solutions
- Evaluate and recommend tools platforms and technologies that align with longterm goals
- Mentor and coach junior architects and technologists
- Champion the firms culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
- Remain uptodate of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Formal training or certification on data management concepts and 10 years applied experience. In addition 5 years of experience leading technologists to manage anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering cloud solutionswith focus on system design application development testing and operational stability
- Expertise in microservices containerization and eventdriven architectures
- Advanced knowledge of application development and technical processes with considerable indepth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.
- Experience building new expertise and demonstrates ability to appropriately apply insolutions for complex architecture problems
- Ability to present and effectively communicatewithSenior Leaders and Executives and uncover business challenges and develop solutions to solve them
- Communicate effectively with business leaders application developers and systems technology experts
- Define target state architectures and develop transition plans for achieving target state
- Experience with Spark AWS Databricks
