Overview
We are hiring for an Acute Care Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist at UofL Hospital
Address: 530 South Jackson Street Louisville KY 40202
Shift Options: PRN
UofL Hospital is the only Level I Trauma Center in the region. The Trauma Center admits more than 3000 patients each year including 1500 patients a year who live outside Jefferson County and its surrounding counties making it a resource not only for Louisville residents but also for people throughout Kentuckiana. Included within the trauma care provided at UofL Hospital is a comprehensive burn unit. With the only adult burn unit in the region all of the Trauma Center surgeons and burn unit nurses are specially trained in treating burn injuries.
Responsibilities
Job Summary
The speechlanguage pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan delivery of treatment services and comprehensive discharge planning.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate of SpeechLanguage Pathology degree
