Job Description

Job Summary

Provide Desktop and Server support to employees of Medigold Healths group of companies by providing first line support of issues and requests raised via our support portal or over the phone. Provide training where required and escalate more complex issues to the IT Support Team Leader when required

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Companys objectives and values.
  • Assist with induction and training of new employees within the Team
  • Manage confidential data in line with the Data Protection Act
  • General Office Duties
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve IT services
  • Assisting with colleagues work during absence.
  • Attending meetings and training sessions as required
  • Any other request made by a Manager or Director

Requirements for this role:

  • There are no specialised qualifications required for this role however a formal IT
  • qualification would be an advantage.
  • To undertake and complete the IT Apprenticeship Qualification
  • Previous desktop IT support experience is essential.
  • An understanding of varied IT systems is essential in this role.
  • Experience of dealing with clients/customers would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrative verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Word is essential.

Core Skills:

  • Good understanding of PC Hardware Operating Systems and Office Apps.
  • Demonstrable organisational skills
  • Exemplary communication skills (both spoken and written)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Proficient in Word Excel PowerPoint &
  • Outlook
  • Able to prioritise
  • TimeManagement skills Good Interpersonal skills
  • Flexible in approach

Job Details:

  • Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
  • Monday Friday between 8am6pm
  • Standard Apprenticeship salary
  • Location: NN4 7BF

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end

  • You will be studying the Level 3 Information and Communication Technician apprenticeship the typical duration of this programme is 12 months
  • Level 3 Information and Communication Technician qualification upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Job Types: Fulltime Apprenticeship

Pay: 6.40 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
