Interns are a critical part of the World Affairs Council and will contribute to its mission while gaining handson work experience. The Council is seeking dedicated and goaloriented volunteer interns to work for our Community Programs team with the prospect of completing projects that may be used in a work portfolio or for academic credit.

About the Program
Community Programs (CP) are discussions rather than lectures enabling attendees to engage directly with the speakers and each other. Council events include panel discussions townhall meetings discussion groups networking events as well as highlevel receptions including our Fellows and Fellows Alumni cohorts and other private gatherings. No matter the size of the program participants are able to address their specific interests in a meaningful conversation through a moderated Q&A format. Interns assist the CP team in the research and planning stages as well as dayof logistics for all World Affairs Council public events whether inperson virtual or hybrid.
