Quant Researcher opportunity systematic equities startup exceptional comp potential

Our client a fastgrowing systematic equities fund is looking to hire talented quant researchers into their growing team in London.

If successful you will research and execute a range of systematic trading strategies leveraging the likes of Machine Learning and Alternative Data. You will initially focus in the equities space but the firm has potential to branch out into other areas.

As an early hire into the business the opportunity will give you great scope for impact learning and progression (career and comp) surrounded by experts in their field and with significant longterm capital to deploy.

In order to apply you must have the following:

  • Commercial experience of quantitative research (ideally 4 years total)
  • A minimum of 2 years in relevant equity research roles (preferably with alternative data but at least within systematic quant strategies)
  • Coding fluency in a mainstream language
  • Excellent academics to Masters or PhD level in a STEM field from a top tier institution
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team as well as on individual research
  • Bonus points for AI/ML/LLM experience leveraged within trading
