Purposeof role The role is to administer and provide Company Secretarialservices to a client portfolio in order to ensure the structureswithin the portfolio meet all statutory obligations and adhere to all relevantlegislation. The purpose of the role is to act as a first reviewer of legalcontracts and other documentation and prepare them for signature following theinternal JTC processes. The employee will be required to act as the first pointof contact for clients intermediaries and colleagues in other jurisdictions. The role will require the employee to develop anunderstanding of company structures and fund structures and develop anunderstanding of the principles of corporate governance and apply theseprinciples as transactions arise. MainResponsibilities and Duties Prepare documentation for signature throughidentification of key risks and mitigants Organize and attend Board meetings Take and draft minutes following boardmeetings Ensure filing deadlines are met Maintain statutory records as required bythe relevant legislation Updating and maintaining board meetingcalendars and schedules Build relationships with clients andintermediaries Role requirements Legal qualification 2 years experience in an administrative role in financial services or law Directcommunications with external parties and intermediaries Organizationalskills and ability to coordinate external parties Reportwriting (drafting and formatting thereof) Abilityto think critically and interpret information from a number of sources Knowledgeof Microsoft packages including Excel Outlook and Word Abilityto type and prepare minutes of Board meetings Abasic understanding of Company Law Excellentattention to detail and accuracy
