Hourly Wage: $26.00 $30.00 per hour

About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Sales Engineering Technician to join our growing team! In this role youll be a vital link between our customers and the engineering team working to deliver precise technical support and pricing for new parts and products. If youre a selfmotivated problem solver with a strong understanding of production processes and a knack for communication this is the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level!
What Youll Be Doing:
Customer Support: Gather technical data and customer specifications to provide detailed responses to RFQs (requests for quotations) and product inquiries.
Quoting & Pricing: Prepare accurate quotes for new parts and assist with pricing for customer service requests.
Production Support: Collaborate with outside vendors to ensure the successful production and delivery of parts.
Contract & Specifications Review: Lead contract reviews for new products and ensure customer specifications are met by reviewing prints and technical requirements.
Documentation: Record production routing changes and maintain organized records in the system.
Samples & Catalogs: Send product samples and catalogs to customers as needed.
Process Improvement: Implement and follow ISO procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all operations.
Sales Engineering Assistance: Support both the Sales and Manufacturing Engineering teams with additional tasks as assigned including assisting with purchase order contract reviews.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Experience: Previous sales customer service or engineering experience is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand and review customer prints and specifications for manufacturability.
Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly phone and email demeanor.
SelfStarter: Ability to manage multiple activities and quotations independently in a fastpaced environment.
Attention to Detail: Good math skills and attention to detail when quoting prices and reviewing product specs.
Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to contribute to various departments including Sales and Customer Service.
Physical Requirements:
Standing bending twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Regular attendance is essential.
