This position is responsible for the growth and relationships of current customer accounts. This is done by personalized proactive customer service to the customer as well as identifying opportunities for account growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Communicating professionally in person over the phone and via email to accounts and team members
Track growth/decline of managed customer accounts and identify new opportunities
Utilize TMS to enter bids and keeping notate communication with customers
Provide customers with a quick effective solution if problems arise
Continuously build and increase your industry knowledge
Ability to be the main point of contact for customers
Assist with accounting department with any invoicing problems that may arise
Ability to generate sales among existing customer accounts including upselling and crossselling
Service multiple customers accounts concurrently often meeting deadlines
Experience and Qualifications
High school Diploma Required
Bachelors degree in related field preferred
Minimum of twoyears experience in logistics preferred
Minimum of threeyears experience in customer service preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
Passion for sales and the art of negotiation
Selfstarter mentality
Ability to maintain composure in a fastpaced environment
Strategically focused and persistent
Ability to multitask while simultaneously building relationships
