Job Description
Wage: $25hr
Housing:Not provided. Prefer candidates to live in a commutable distance from La Porte TX
Responsibilities
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following all policies procedures and always acting in a safe manner
- Learn the use of proper personal protective equipment to sample waste in shipping containers throughout the warehouse and properly track and label the materials as needed
- Shadow other chemists to learn about receiving sampling and waste analysis.
- Updating SOP documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- Enrolled in a degree program in Chemistry or Environmental Sciences
- General chemical knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office Excel Work and PowerPoint
- Computer proficiency within a Windows based system
