Worksite: CCSU Childrens Crisis Stabilization Unit

Hours Status: PartTime
Pay Range: $14.25Eligible for shift differential
Brief Job Description:
The mental health technician is the direct care staff of the Childrens Crisis Stabilization Unit which is a 24 hour program. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety of the clients and maintaining the therapeutic milieu.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Supervise residents ensuring that they are safe and secure at all times
- Implement milieu management systems
- Document resident daily activities
- Take phone referrals conduct admission screens and complete admission materials
- Conduct group discussions/activities and recreational activities
- Assist residents in utilizing acceptable coping skills
- Prepare meals for residents
- Contribute to general cleanliness of the facility
- Supervise medication administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
- Kentucky drivers license and proof of insurance;
- Acceptable background check (yearly)
