Job Description

The Hazing Harassment and Bullying (HHB) Coordinator will handle all hazing harassment and bullying investigations at Molly Stark Elementary School. The selected candidate will also be trained in the Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG) threat assessment protocol. They will work closely with building administration to coordinate and implement CSTAG threat assessments. The Coordinator will meet regularly with the supervisory unions Diversity Equity and Inclusion Administrator. Requirements:
  • Applicant must be able to be impartial before/during/after investigations and interviews.
  • Applicant must be approachable by students and parents and be able to respond to student/parental complaints in a timely manner.
  • Applicant must be knowledgeable of Vermont HHB law (Vermont State Law 16 V.S.A. 570. As well as be able to fully understand and implement district HHB policy.
  • Applicant should be knowledgeable of Federal Title IX laws and be able to determine when a complaint is best suited for that process.
  • Applicant must be knowledgeable of FERPA as well as maintaining student confidentiality.
  • Applicant should have or be open to receiving training in the CSTAG threat assessment protocol.
  • Applicant should have experience utilizing and entering data into a Student Information.
