Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Technicians (MHDDT) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Topeka Kansas in a fulltime capacity or locum tenens.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds repetitively and requires physical strength to frequently bend stoop walk push pull twist squat and lift patients with assistance
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct basic care and supervision to patients and residents at state hospital
- Perform location checks both observing and monitoring
- Perform environmental cleaning tasks
