We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join our team in Hialeah Gardens FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and project management with a proven track record of success in managing groundup and renovation construction projects from start to finish. This position requires frequent travel and frequent evening and weekend hours to manage owner occupied renovation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning and budgeting to and completion
- Manage and coordinate all onsite activities including scheduling subcontractor management and quality control
- Ensure that all work is completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders including clients architects engineers and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage project documentation including contracts change orders and project reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction
- Proven track record of success in project management and construction trades
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Bachelors degree in construction management or related field (preferred)
- Frequent travel
- Regularly scheduled weekend and evening work
