Overview
Immediate Hiring Need for First Shift CNC Machinist
$5055K plus Generous Benefits Plan
Our team is looking to add a talented CNC Machinist with Vertical Milling Machines in Green Bay Wisconsin. You would perform machining operations under direct supervision using mills drill presses and lathes.
Responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets machining instructions from blueprints part and machine drawings
- Set up basic tooling on manual mills.
- Set up operates and programs a production work involving some close tolerances
- Inspect machine parts to ensure they meet proper size shape or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
- Performs routine maintenance.
- Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.
- Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications(Required):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be good at problem solving
- Mechanical aptitude
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Desire and ability to learn machining
Qualifications(Preferred):
- Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
- 2 years of relevant machining experience
- Military experience
