Are you ready to suit up
GardaWorld is looking to hire Guards in Cars to service our customer site for peak season coverage. You will be responsible monitoring the truck/trailer traffic at ourclients properties and ensuring meticulous attention to detail in recording information. We are looking for guards to work Night Shift in Scarbourgh.

What youll be doing
- Stationed in a vehicle this guard is responsible for trespasser deterrence and access control
- Fire watch duties and the identification of potential hazards to the public and staff on site.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Perform patrols outside the facility including checking multiple buildings fence perimeter etc.
- Deescalate situations involving vagrant individuals reduce risk and protect people and property from such disturbances.
- Deterring and responding to incidents on property
- Completing reports and memo book entries on a regular basis
What were looking for
- Enhanced Reliability Clearance applicants must have 5 years of residency in Canada to obtain clearance
- Valid drivers licence with a clean record and ability to ability to use own vehicle at work
- Valid Security Guard licence and first aid card (CPR level C)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous security experience (asset)
- Above average communication skills (written/oral)
- Sense of observation and responsibility
- Honesty autonomy and very good judgment
