Job Description
La Salle Universitys Psychology department has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach a variety of courses each semester on an as needed basis. These courses are generally offered in person during the day and evening. Occasionally an online course will become available. Required Qualifications
Required of instructors in ALL programs: Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University. Multicultural competence and training. Undergraduate Program: Masters degree (M.A. or above in psychology or in a closely related field. Professional Clinical Counseling Masters Program: M.A. or Ph.D. Doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision (preferably from a CACREP accredited program and with a mental health counseling specialty) Psychology or a closely related area depending on the course. Marriage and Family Therapy or Couple and Family Therapy Masters Program: M.A. or Ph.D. in Marriage & Family Therapy Couple & Family Therapy (preferably from a COAMFTE accredited program) Psychology or a closely related area depending on the course. Licenseeligible as an LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania for certain courses. Doctoral Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology Program: Doctoral degree in psychology in a relevant area.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related field. Previous experience teaching at the collegiate level. Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
