Class Summary


This is a parttime position with a maximum of 1508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays leave or benefits.

Job Description
This Building Brains Anywhere Clerk will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative support duties which may include record keeping data entry filing and providing critical support to ensure smooth operations of facility rentals and building operations. The incumbent must display exemplary oral and written communication to internal and external customers.

Essential Duties
  • Performing a variety of clerical functions which mayincludetyping answering phones from the public and legal community filing copying faxing opening and distributing mail and/or performing other related activities
  • Handling incoming communications from the internal and external stakeholders
  • Responding to inquiries regarding facility rentals and volunteer opportunities
  • Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations of facility rentals and building operations
  • Maintaining and updating multiple calendars for scheduling facility rentals and educational programming events
  • Assisting with volunteer registration records and coordination of volunteer efforts
  • Supporting the planning and of communitybased educational programming and events
  • Assisting with record keeping data entry and document filing
Public Speaking Duties
  • Must be able to speak effectively at events tours presentations programs etc.
Other Job Requirements/Information
This job may require after hours weekends and/or holidays.

Hourly rate
Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
  • Associate degree in hospitality facility/building maintenance or a related field AND
  • Two years rental/hospitality facility/building maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Georgia drivers license
  • CPR and First Aid Certification with 90 days of employment.
