- Rotating 24/7 roster
- $36.74 $39.78/hr plus super

About the role
Our team at Brisbane Private Hospital are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Rehab Unit on a part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Set at the top of Wickham Terrace Brisbanes busiest medical precinct above the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of the CBD Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical ICU and rehabilitation wards. Brisbane Private Hospital specialises in Neurosurgery Orthopaedics Spinal ENT Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics Urology General Surgery Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Brisbane Private Hospital also delivers a leading private drug and alcohol program Damascus Health Services from its dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.
As an Enrolled Nurse your duties will include:
- Provide evidenced based nursing care
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Supervise direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery rehabilitation or end of life needs
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- 12 years Medical / Surgical / Rehab experience
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
