About the role

Working within the Facilities and Infrastructure team as a Junior Project Manager you will be supporting and coordinating activities that support the Facilities and Infrastructure team under the guidance of the Head of Engineering Projects. You will be responsible for coordination of project works supporting Engineering Project Managers updating of the project works register monitoring Key performance indicators (KPIs) across all engineering projects and working with team members to meet goals by specific deadlines. Supporting Facilities and Infrastructure the post holder will support operational activities including provide coordination of monthly service partner meetings managing internal stakeholder project meetings and working towards delivery of own assigned projects. Your role will also involve manager customer and partner relationships from project authorisation and initiation through to project closure ensuring regular communication between the teams is met.

What you will be doing

As a Junior Project Manager at the Crick you will:

• Oversight of all project activities working with Head of Engineering Projects to assign duties and assisting the team so that required tasks are completed in an orderly and timely manner.
• Manage the Project works register working with the Head of Engineering Projects to ensure information is up to date for monthly reporting
• Maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Health and Safety quality and best practice requirements.
• Monitoring/tracking the Engineering Project Team deliverables ensuring all actions are completed.
• Arrange and manage internal stakeholder meetings and steering groups
• Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database

About you

You will bring

• Educated to degree level in business administration project management or a relevant subject depending on the industry (Desirable)
• Experience of working in a structured project environment and a good understanding of the project lifecycle
• Awareness of projects as part of a wider portfolio; supporting the tracking and reporting of multiple projects from inception to transition to operation
• Experience of building relationships and collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders to Head of Department level as norm and Director by exception
• Experience of tracking and prioritising multiple projects through to completion

• Comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced environment with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
