Job Description
MPU is adding a new leader at our power generation site and we are seeking applicants with strong power plant experience.
The Assistant Power Plant ManagerMaintenance position is responsible for overseeing the plants maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability minimize downtime and optimize performance. This includes implementing predictive maintenance longterm planning and creating technical documentation.
This role also works closely with the Plant Manager to ensure safe efficient and compliant plant operations balancing administrative responsibilities with handson fieldwork and maintaining effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees maintenance operations.
Implements predictive and conditionbased maintenance.
Coordinates outage planning and .
Provides field engineering support.
Monitors plant performance and efficiency.
Sample of Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Extensive experience and progressive leadership in power production.
Bachelors Degree in engineering sciences or similar field electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
Knowledge of codes and standards with ability to apply.
High level of technical knowledge judgement and capability in a maintenance discipline.
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Pay Rate: $118000 starting pay.
