Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our clients engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design development testing and maintenance of electrical systems and components to required specifications focusing on economy safety reliability quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution control systems and automation.
- Support the preparation of electrical drawings specifications and documentation.
- Conduct tests and simulations to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in existing systems and installations.
- Participate in the commissioning and installation of electrical equipment.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports proposals and presentations.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in a similar role.
- Experience working on MV / LV type projects relating to industrial plants.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD ETAP or similar tools).
- Basic understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC IEC).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Valid drivers license.
