Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations: Oversee daytoday operations in a 57000 sq foot warehouse ensuring efficiency accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Service Expertise: Utilize your experience in attracting customers and managing customsbonded warehouses to facilitate smooth import/export processes.
Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to educate clients on available services contributing to the growth of the business. Provide insights into warehouse capabilities and benefits.
Transportation Management System (TMS): Utilize TMS for effective tracking coordination and optimization of transportation activities within the warehouse.
Employee Management: Lead and manage warehouse staff fostering a positive work environment providing guidance and ensuring optimal performance.
Warehouse Logistics: Demonstrate proficiency in managing various types of cargo including cubicles flatbed dry van reefer and foodgrade certified products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a largescale facility.
- Familiarity with cubicles flatbed dry van reefer foodgrade certified warehouses and customsbonded warehouses.
- Strong understanding of customs processes and attracting customs for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Experience in educating clients on services and closing new business deals.
- Proficient in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced warehouse environment.
