We have an opportunity for an Executive Director to join their team of staff in theSenior Management Team.
This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

- Able to make judgements involving complex facts or situations which require the analysis interpretation and comparison of a range of options.
- Excellent decisionmaking capabilities people management skills communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Selfmotivated and able to inspire others to success by taking responsibility for guiding and directing others actions to achieve
- Degree level education/ postgraduate qualifications or equivalent
- An ability to gain a sound understanding of current health industry issues and knowledge of health funding pertaining to private/public health sectors with a working knowledge of statutory regulatory requirements
- Able to establish operational and capital budgets that accurately reflect the organisation goals intended strategies and emerging commercial opportunities.
- Sound numerical & financial skills
- Ability to read and interpret financial data
- Ability to grasp of regulatory requirements in Healthcare
- Risk management skills
- Excellent HR management skills including recruitment selection performance management employee relations and talent retention
Duties of this role include:
- Executive Directors are required to ensure safety and quality of care are prime considerations in all decisions actions and plans and continuous improvement is implicit in all activity planning and learning.
- Executive Directors are responsible for providing effective leadership in line with CHGs purpose values and behaviours.
- Theirs is the responsibility to serve as a role model mentor and coach to the departments functions and people within their team including recruitment and retention of quality talent.
- Executive Directors are responsible for creating and delivering their hospitals annual strategic and operational plan not least of all by driving clinical quality as reflected by quality indicators and for achieving hospital EBITDAR in line with CHG targets.
