Job Description
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an academic Nephropathologist for a tenuretrack/tenured fixedterm or variabletrack position at the rank of Assistant Associate or Full Professor. We are seeking new leadership and service providers for our wellknown Nephropathology program which includes an established outreach kidney biopsy service. UNC School of Medicine has many outstanding opportunities for research and scholarship in medical renal disease including dynamic Nephrology and Kidney Transplant programs and The UNC Kidney Center that coordinates a wide spectrum of kidney disease research including multiple ongoing NIH funded research consortia. Opportunities are available for teaching in the School of Medicine and the Graduate School.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Applicants interested in minor clinical service work in one of our other surgical pathology subspecialties will also be considered.
