Registered Nurse MedSurg $30000 Sign On Bonus

Our Client: Our Client is a fullservice healthcare provider that has been serving the Kansas City MO community for over 20 years.

The Position: Our Client is seeking a qualified medsurg registered nurse. In collaboration with the patient the patients family and other members of the health care team the Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing evaluating planning implementing and coordinating a treatment plan and achieving the goals of the nursing department. Our Client is offering the following benefits and compensation:

• $30 $41.50 per hour depending on experience

  • $4.00 for nights
  • $4.00 weekends

Job Responsibilities:

• Available Shifts:
  • Days (Rotating Weekends) 12 Hour Shift
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends) 12 Hour Shift
• Med/Surg specialty units include nephrology ortho neuro
• 49 bed units (Nurse to patient ratio 6:1
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time supplies and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications procedures and treatments providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of Recent (within the last year or 2 RN ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE
  • Would Consider speaking with someone that has LTAC or Rehab experience but they need to have acute care experience in their background
• Missouri RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• BLS (AHA Healthcare provider) required within 30 days from start
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS required within 6 months
