Simple Steps LLC is searching for a professional and enthusiastic Therapeutic Art Facilitator in the Conroe TX area to provide services for veterans in need. This is an employee position.

PARTTIME with a potential to increase hours due to Veteran needs!

About Us:

Simple Steps LLC is a family owned and operated company that collaborates with various organizations to provide inhome and community programming for wounded veterans. We utilize oneonone care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success.

Job Description:
The Therapeutic Art Facilitator provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. This position includes the following:
  • Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
  • Facilitating therapeutic art activities to foster client growth.
  • Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.
Qualifications and Preferred Criteria
  • LPC Preferred
  • ATRP ATR or ATRBC Preferred
  • Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Experience working with veterans
  • Experience working with mental health conditions
  • Experience working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must be able to travel to current or prospective clients homes
  • Must be able to communicate with health care professionals clients families and the general public through verbal and written communication
  • Must have access to a private personal laptop or desktop computer for HIPAA compliance
  • Track SMART goals and progress through weekly documentation using Microsoft Word Excel and Adobe Reader
  • Implement patient care plans through home and community goalrelated activities
  • Able to work independently manage ones own time and the time of client(s)
All individuals should have the following:
  • Resume
  • CPR Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
  • Social Security Card
  • Drivers License
