Job Description
Delta West Academy is looking for a French Specialist for theschool year who inspires their students learning through inquiry and experiential learning. All of our students take both French and Spanish from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 9 and then specialize in either French or Spanish in High School. Languages are a core component of our program and we are excited to add a French specialist to our Team to bring their passion for the language into our classrooms.
We pride ourselves on the connections we can make with students given our small classes and tailor curricular programming to meet the needs of individuals. Teachers are able to utilize the delivery of their program through a variety of modalities and resources to engage student learning. Excellent mentorship and support is provided by Administration and senior teaching staff throughout the school year.

The successful candidate will need to provide the school with a criminal record/vulnerable sector check prior to being able to begin teaching. They must also hold a current Alberta Interim Certificate or Alberta Professional Certificate.
