Job Description

International consulting group founded in 2019 Ekkiden fosters an ecosystem of passionate and committed consultants who lead organizational operational and technological transformation projects in IT/Digital Industry/R&D and Sustainability for large enterprises and SMEs in France Switzerland Spain and Germany.

About the job :

Location: Paseo de la Castellana (a la altura de Coln) Madrid
Type: Fulltime
Availability for weekly oncall shifts 24/7
Language: Fluent English (German is a plus)

Your Challenge

As an Application Support Specialist youll ensure the smooth operation of our core banking applications. Youll collaborate with various IT and business teams to resolve issues improve processes and support applicationrelated projects.

What Youll Do

  • Ensure application stability through 2nd level support

  • Resolve incidents raised by monitoring systems and the service desk within SLA

  • Coordinate with incident managers service owners 3rdlevel support and other stakeholders

  • Participate in oncall rotation (weekly 24/7

  • Manage change requests related to applications

  • Support weekend releases

  • Join projects focused on operations for both existing and new applications

  • Perform routine system data cleansing

  • Optimize and automate repetitive tasks hand over to 1st level support where possible

  • Keep application documentation (knowledge base) up to date

Your Profile

  • Completed IT training (e.g. degree in Computer Science or related certification)

  • 2 years of experience in application support

  • Good knowledge of Unix (Shell scripting is a plus)

  • Experience with Windows Server OS

  • Familiarity with Java application servers databases and AWA is a plus

  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • Ideally experience in the banking sector and knowledge of financial products

  • Strong analytical and processoriented mindset

  • A real team player with excellent communication skills

  • Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and concepts

  • Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
