Job Description

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80 120 of the established midpoint. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate or candidate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). At a minimum the program must be a fiveyear pharmacy degree program.
- Must have completed a PGY1 Pharmacy residency program that is accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP)
- Maintain exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with patients pharmacists and other healthcare personnel and administrators.
- Flexible; able to cope with rapid change; comfortable with an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain effective organizational management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated ability to design implement and evaluate programs in a timely fashion.
- Ability to effectively participate in and develop a team.
- Demonstrated clinical pharmacy skills and knowledge.
- This position requires flexibilityto orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

- Must be eligible for and obtain a California pharmacy intern license within 30 days of employment.
- Must be eligible for and obtain a California pharmacist license within 4 months of employment.
- Must be in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current Certification for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
