Job Description
A leading & innovative Engineering Firm in Pretoria is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team!
Key Requirements:
- BEng in Electrical Engineering or BSc in Electrical Engineering
- Fully proficient in English
- Well skilled in Microsoft Office Suite Sketchup Layout AutoCAD PVSyst
- Drivers license and own car required
- Able to cope under pressure
- Must be a South African Citizen
Responsibilities:
- All mechanical and electrical design and drawings for rooftop groundmount and storage systems
- Compiling of BOQ
- Apply and drive regulatory approvals
- Quality control of the system designed
- Professional engagement with suppliers and subcontractors
- Project management of solar PV plant from site establishment to internal handover
- Management of timeline budget and quality
- Management of subcontractor
- Contract management
- Health and safety
- Progress reports
- Building longterm client relationships
- Managing client expectations
- Site visits as support service for the project development team
