Position Description:

Role : API Developer AWS


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced API Developer with strong expertise in Java AWS Cloud Oracle PL/SQL Kafka and Terraform Pipelines. The ideal candidate will design develop and deploy scalable APIs cloudnative applications and realtime data processing solutions. This role requires handson experience with eventdriven architectures cloud automation and database integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in API development cloud architecture and backend services.
Work location : Chennai Hybrid modesl
Design and implement robust scalable and secure APIs using Java and AWS services.
Leverage AWS Cloud services (e.g. EC2 S3 Lambda API Gateway RDS) to build and deploy cloudnative applications.
Develop optimize and maintain database procedures triggers and functions in Oracle PL/SQL to support backend services.
Implement and manage eventdriven architecture using Kafka for realtime data processing and communication between distributed systems.
Build and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Terracore Pipelines to automate application deployment and lifecycle management.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements offer technical solutions and ensure the delivery of highquality products.
Optimize code for performance scalability and security. Ensure that APIs and cloud infrastructure meet operational and business needs.
Create clear concise technical documentation for the APIs database procedures and cloud architecture.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Good communication skills to interact with clients stakeholders and team members.
AWS Certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect or Developer Associate) are a plus.

Required Skills & Experience:
MustHave:
Strong experience in Java for API and backend development.
Expertise in AWS cloud services (API Gateway Lambda ECS RDS etc..
Handson experience with Oracle PL/SQL for backend database integration.
Proficiency in Kafka for realtime messaging and data streaming.
Experience with Terraform Pipelines for cloud infrastructure automation.
Good to Have:Experience in DevOps CI/CD and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation.Exposure to API security OAuth JWT and authentication mechanisms.
